1841. Lunsford J. Thorn was born on 18 Sep 1815 in Bulltown, Culpepper, VA. He died in Hazleton, Gibson, IN. Said to be one of the first residents of Ravenswood, and when incorporated as a town in 1857, he was a member of the council.

He was married to Mary Ann DraGoo (daughter of William DraGoo and Elizabeth Prunty) on 27 Aug 1837 in Muncie, Delaware, IN. Mary Ann DraGoo was born on 17 May 1812 in Muncie, Delaware, IN. She died on 22 Jul 1874 in Hazleton, Gibson, IN. Lunsford J. Thorn and Mary Ann DraGoo had the following children:
