2885 ii. PVT Elias Thorne USA was born on 5 Dec 1845 in Royalton, Niagra Co., NY. He died on 19 May 1864 in Alsop's Farm, VA. He was killed in The Battle of The Spotsylvania Court House, Virginia. He died at the age of 18 years 5 months & 14 days. He was buried in Fredricksburg & Spotsylvania National Memorial Park. His Grave number is 763 A Union Soldier during the Civil War. He was killed in the Battle of the Wilderness, near the Spotsylvania Courthouse, Virginia. He is buried in Georgia. In his enlistment forms his physical description is as follows: 5 feet and 7 inches high; dark complexion; gray eyes and dark hair.
