3318. Oakleigh Lewis Thorne was born on 24 Apr 1909 in Bar Harbor, ME. He died in 1978 in Hobe Sound, FL. AKA Oakleigh Lewis Thorne. He was adopted by Charlotte's Father (Oakleigh Thorne) and changed his name to Thorne. He attended Hotchkiss and went on to Princeton. During WW II, he was an Aide to Admiral Nimitz.
