4381. Dale Allen was born on 11 Sep 1916 in Dawson, Dallas, IA. He died on 1 Aug 1993 in Dawson, Dallas, IA. He was a Machinist. Pitched both games of a double header, one game with his right arm and the other game with his left. He pitched against old-time baseball great, Bob Feller. He once played basketball against the original Harlem Globetrotters. In his seventies, he hit a hole-in-one. Dale lived in Dawson, Perry, Des Moines and Nevada, Iowa, until he retired in Sept. 1978. From then on, he and Laurene spent their winters in Tucson. Sold the Iowa house Dale built in 1986.

He was married to Laurene Alice Fagen (daughter of Ivyl Robinson Fagen and Blanche Alida Lisle) on 9 Sep 1939 in Perry, Dallas, IA. Dale Allen and Laurene Alice Fagen had the following children:
