4552. Glenn Leon Thorne was born on 15 Mar 1906 in Grand Rapids, MI. He died on 6 Apr 1948 in Santa Ana, CA. He was buried in Melrose Abbey, Anaheim, CA. Upon graduation from high school in 1923, Glenn was stricken with arthritus, crippling him & preventing from enrolling in college that fall. He owned & operated a printing shop in Santa Ana, CA., He died at the age of 42 while under going surgery for kidney problems. Date of death was 6 April 1948. His church bulletin the following Sunday, 11 April, said "He was courageous in soul, mind & body, undaunted by handicaps that would have defeated many others".

He was married to Alice Watkins Wilson on 1 Oct 1933 in Grand Rapids, MI. Alice Watkins Wilson was born on 18 Aug 1902 in Yantley, AL. She died on 9 Apr 1991 in Macdoel, CA. She was buried in Melrose Abbey, Anaheim, CA. She lived Santa Ana, CA. Glenn Leon Thorne and Alice Watkins Wilson had the following children:
