657. Joseph Thorne was born on 12 Feb 1761 in Crosswicks, Burlington, NJ. He died on 28 Sep 1822 in Crosswicks, Burlington, NJ. The names of all the cildren of the marriage of Thomas Thorn & Rhoda Moon are recorded in the family bible of his son Benjamin & was in the possession of Ann Pancoast Andrews (apparently a descendant) who was living in Moorstown New Jersey. This first group of children is accurate; the names of Joseph's kids by 2nd marriage to Ann Beck are from less reliable sources.

He was married to Rhoda Moon on 12 Feb 1874. Rhoda Moon died before 1802 in New Jersey. Joseph Thorne and Rhoda Moon had the following children:

1141 vi. Joseph Thorne was born on 7 Feb 1794. Removed to Ohio
1142 vii. Sarah Thorne was born on 16 Aug 1796. Went to Ohio with brother Joseph & died unmarried.
1143 viii. Elizabeth Thorne was born on 14 Sep 1798. She died on 21 Mar 1800.
1144 ix. George Thorne was born on 13 Oct 1799.
1145 x. Thomas Thorne was born on 6 Jan 1802. He died on 7 Jan 1802.

He was married to Ann Beck on 17 Mar 1802. Ann Beck died on 29 Jan 1822. Joseph Thorne and Ann Beck had the following children:

1147 ii. James Douglas Thorne was born on 31 Mar 1806.
+1148 iii. Benjamin Thorne.
+1149 iv. Lovina (Lavinia) Thorne.
1150 v. Barclay Thorne was born on 23 Feb 1815.
