He was married to Ruth Dudley (daughter of Joshua Dudley and Rachel Roberts) on 23 Mar 1809 in New Jersey. Ruth Dudley was born on 5 Nov 1787 in New Jersey. She died on 30 Aug 1823 in Huntington County, IN. Philip V. Thorne Notes:

The children that I have attributed to Benjamin and Ruth may well be the children of Ben's brother William who married Ruth's sister, Hannah. According to Ezra Thorne he was born in 1811 but the next sibling was not born for fifteen years, very unlikely.
