204. James Thorne was born about 1705. In 1738 James was an Ensign of the Foot Co. Flushing Militia. In 1747 he was a Lt. of Col. Hicks Reg for Queen's Co & served at Fort Schenectady.

He was married to Mary Lawrence (daughter of Daniel Lawrence and Mary Redwood) on 5 Sep 1734 in Flushing, Long Island, NY. James Thorne and Mary Lawrence had the following children:
