My first memory of him was after he came home from the Marines. He was always jolly and loved to tease. He was a very good teacher. My last years in grade school he was my teacher. I remember telling Mom I didn't like to have my brother for a teacher because he made a "sample" of me. He had many of Mom's traits. Always a friend to all.

He was married to Erma Lea Davis on 6 Jul 1932 in West Virginia. Erma Lea Davis was born on 14 May 1908 in Creston, Wirt Co, WV. She died on 11 Oct 1994 in Stuart, FL. Siblings are:
