675. Samuel Thorne was born on 22 Aug 1742 in Purchase, Dutchess Co., NY. He died in Apr 1770 in Westchester County, NY. He was buried in Westchester County, NY. Philip V. Thorne Notes: He was 1st to die as his 4 dtrs are mentioned in his Father's Will dated 1 May 1776, but He is not.

I don't believe We have the I.D. of his Wife yet. I have a copy of a Document that assigns all the chattels, credits & Paternal obligations from Son Samuel, after his death, to his Father Thomas. It is dated 12 April 1770. It's essentially a form letter & it indicates he died "Intestate". It is addressed as below.

TO: THOMAS THORNE OF WESTCHESTER COUNTY YEOMAN, FATHER OF SAMUEL THORNE LATE OF THE SAME COUNTY YEOMAN DECEASED.

He was married to Deborah in 1765. Samuel Thorne and Deborah had the following children:
