674. Stevenson Thorn was born on 22 Aug 1740 in North Castle, Westchester Co, NY. He died in 1793 in Coeyman's Patent, NY. He died in COEYMANS patent, NY. In his Father Thomas' Will his name is spelled STEPHENSON.

Stevenson had at least one son. He had a GGreatgrandson named Rev Chester C. Thorne. He was a Presbyterian minister. This per the notes of Crosby J Wilkin, thru his son David. UPDATE: As of October 1998 , descendant Margaret E. Thorne has done a thorough job tracking down Stevenson's progeny!!, Like the rest of the Thornes they did not keep track of each other but thus far ...we know the Stevenson & Prudence had 5 sons not 1 so they will have a ton of Thorne descendants....

He was married to Prudence Merritt (daughter of Thomas Merritt) on 15 Sep 1763 in Purchase Monthly Meeting, Westchester, NY. Prudence Merritt was born in North Castle, Westchester Co, NY. Stevenson Thorn and Prudence Merritt had the following children:
