2282. Laura Belle Pine was born on 29 Aug 1876 in Lawrence, Douglas Co, KS. She died on 16 Mar 1942 in Lawrence, Douglas Co, KS. Laura Belle Pine, oldest daughter of Theodore F. and Amanda C. Pine, was born near Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas, August 29, 1876. Her childhood and youth were all spent in her father's home at Lawrence, and her marrage occourred at the same place April 17, 1897, when she was approaching her twenty-first birthday.

She was married to George Richard Uttinger (son of John Uttinger and Sarilda Morgan) on 17 Apr 1897 in Lawrence, Douglas Co, KS. In 1901 the couple lived in a little cottage adjacent to the home of Theodore F. Pine, on the outskirts of the northern section of the city of Lawrence, then for ten months in Topeka, the capital of Kansas, and again changing their abode lived for a short period at a place called Overbrook. Finally they returned to North Lawrence in the early part of 1900, about the time of the birth of their second daughter, Edna.
