1219. Daniel B. Thorn was born on 26 Aug 1801 in Newburgh, Orange Co, NY. He died on 25 Jul 1866 in Plattekill, Ulster County, NY. Daniel was 64 years 10 months & 30 days of age at his death. He was buried in Plattekill Friends Cemetery, Plattekill, Ulster County, NY. Daniel B Thorne is buried in Plattekill Friends Cemetery, but there is no listing of him in the Marlboro MM records. He was probably like his Dad John, lived his life as a Friend, but perhaps did not want ALL the restrictions, that may have went with it.

He was married to Phoebe Mullenix about 1822. Phoebe Mullenix was born on 25 Mar 1802 in New York. She was buried in Oct 1887 in Plattekill Friends Cemetery, Plattekill, Ulster County, NY. She died on 14 Oct 1887 in Plattekill, Ulster County, NY. The Marlboro MM records show a Phebe Thorne, being received into membership by request at the Valley PM on 24 Oct 1832. This in all likelihood is her. Daniel B. Thorn and Phoebe Mullenix had the following children:

1984 i. Louisa Thorne was born on 29 Dec 1823. She died on 7 May 1828.
1985 ii. John Thorne was born in 1826. He was buried in Sep 1827 in Plattekill Friends Cemetery, Plattekill, Ulster County, NY. Little John is buried next to his Grandmother Mary Birdsall-Thorne in the Plattekill Friends Cemetery. He died on 11 Sep 1827.
