He was married to Meribah Allen (daughter of Jedidiah Allen and Elizabeth Allen) on 21 Feb 1708/9 in Shrewsbury Monthly Meeting, NJ. Meribah Allen was born on 12 Nov 1686 in West Jersey. She died in Nottingham, Burlington Co, NJ. William Thorne and Meribah Allen had the following children:
